Job Description
We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Pickers and Packers to join a growing distribution center. In this role, you will be the final step in ensuring our customers receive exactly what they ordered, on time and in perfect condition. salary: $17 - $18 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 12 AM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Pick Orders: Accurately pull items from warehouse shelves based on customer order slips, picking lists, or RF scanner instructions.
- Pack & Ship: Carefully pack items into shipping boxes, ensuring proper use of protective materials to prevent transit damage.
- Quality Check: Verify that the correct items, sizes, and quantities are packed for every single order.
- Labeling: Print and affix shipping labels and packing slips accurately to prepare boxes for outbound freight.
- Inventory Tracking: Report any stock discrepancies, low inventory, or damaged products to the floor supervisor.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
