Trailer Mechanic Details:

• Temporary position
• $21.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Perform repairs, refurbishments, and retrofit modifications on trailer bodies and truck boxes.
• Diagnose structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage using hand and power tools.
• Complete welding, fabrication, carpentry, and component replacement projects to restore equipment to operating condition.
• Inspect trailers for safety and quality standards, ensuring all repairs meet customer and company requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while accurately documenting completed repair and maintenance work.

Trailer Mechanic Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic or in a similar role involving welding, carpentry, fabrication, and structural repairs.
• Ability to diagnose equipment issues and safely use hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment.
• Valid driver's license required. High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen (excluding THC).
