Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Devils Lake, North Dakota, United States
Start date: 08/03/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly pay: $2,596 – $2,690 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: 3x12 rotating (Days/Nights)
Setting: hospital travel assignment

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for labor and delivery patients in accordance with policy and protocol
- Develop and implement a plan of care based on assessment, including discharge planning and patient education
- Assess patient condition, manage pain, identify early warning signs, and initiate escalation or emergency measures as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; document observations and ensure timely referrals and follow-up
- Coordinate education for patients and families; participate in discharge planning and ensure safe transfer of care
- Assign or delegate nursing interventions within scope of practice and maintain accurate, concise charting

Requirements
- Active RN license in North Dakota or a Compact State (ND Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement) prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); STABLE; all prior to start date
- Ability to work a 3x12 rotating shift schedule in a hospital setting
- Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program and earned RN licensure
- Experience: Labor & Delivery or acute care nursing experience; travel nursing experience is advantageous but not required
